I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Das Ryokan Ichinoi liegt nur einen 5-minütigen Spaziergang vom Zentrum des Thermalresorts Kurokawa entfernt und bietet Unterkünfte im japanischen Stil und japanische Yukata-Gewänder. The outside onsen was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for my. Also we had it all to ourselves in the afternoon which allowed us to peacefully enjoy the forest scenery while bathing in this beautiful onsen all by ourselves. Our tattoos were not a problem and the staff was incredibly helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional and traditional Japanese meals with multiple courses. You can also book their private onsen which is only 1000 yen for 45 min.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki befindet sich gelegen im Bezirk Kurokawa Onsen in Minamioguni, 41 km von Vulkan Aso und 49 km von See Kinrinko entfernt. This stay was magical. The amenities were exceptional, and the house was extremely clean and relaxing. The onsen bath was a really great way to relax. We ended up cancelling our plans so that we could spend the day relaxing at the house instead. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The beds were so soft, and the quality of the bedding, toiletries, and the tea/coffee/ice cream/milk were really high! The owner was exceptionally nice, and he has a restaurant that we went to for dinner. I have dietary requirements, and they went to a huge effort to source ingredients that I could eat and prepared a delicious and extremely well priced meal. Everything about this stay was exceptional!
