Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

The environment was amazing, room was clean, comfortable and huge with in room private onsen, kaiseki dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful with outstanding service.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Lovely and helpful staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. The room was large and spacious, very clean and comfortable. Fabulous onsen!

Ryokan Ichinoi ligger bara 5 minuters promenad från centrum av Kurokawa med sina varma källor. Här erbjuds boende i japansk stil med japanska yukatarockar. The outside onsen was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for my. Also we had it all to ourselves in the afternoon which allowed us to peacefully enjoy the forest scenery while bathing in this beautiful onsen all by ourselves. Our tattoos were not a problem and the staff was incredibly helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional and traditional Japanese meals with multiple courses. You can also book their private onsen which is only 1000 yen for 45 min.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki ligger i Kurokawa Onsen i Minamioguni, 41 km från Aso och 49 km från Kinrinko-sjön. Detta boende erbjuder tillgång till en balkong, gratis privat parkering och gratis WiFi. This stay was magical. The amenities were exceptional, and the house was extremely clean and relaxing. The onsen bath was a really great way to relax. We ended up cancelling our plans so that we could spend the day relaxing at the house instead. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The beds were so soft, and the quality of the bedding, toiletries, and the tea/coffee/ice cream/milk were really high! The owner was exceptionally nice, and he has a restaurant that we went to for dinner. I have dietary requirements, and they went to a huge effort to source ingredients that I could eat and prepared a delicious and extremely well priced meal. Everything about this stay was exceptional!
