Ideally located in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka, Hotel Universal Port Vita is a 4-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan, 4 km from Osaka Bay Tower and 6 km from Tempozan Ferris Wheel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was close to the entrance of universal studios Japan.

Located in Osaka and with Tempozan Ferris Wheel reachable within 500 metres, HOTEL SAILS provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The service was superb. One of us sustained a leg injury while on holiday, and we sought the hotel reception's advice for a clinic or hospital. I regret not getting his name but one staff member in particular helped us tremendously. He sourced a hospital with a medical interpreter, though unfortunately the interpreter was not available that day. As an alternative we asked where we could buy crutches, which we eventually ordered from Amazon and had delivered to the hotel. The hotel staff including other receptionists continued to enquire after our well-being till check out and beyond. The room was excellent — roomy and beautiful. Lighting was well done. Large comfortable bed, though the pillows could have been better. The toilet was also fantastic, with the toilet bowl, sink, and shower/bath in separated areas. Shower included a stool for sitting down (which was most helpful due to the leg injury). Breakfast consists of baked goods like croissants, doughnuts, etc. and was tasty.

Located within 2.5 km of Universal Studios Japan and 4 km of Minato Kumin Centre, Hotel TORACO konohana provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Osaka. The Mid-century room was great for 2 people! Plenty of space for luggage + some walking around room. Bigger than lots of hotel rooms in Tokyo. There was one laundry machine and dryer which we used. The bathroom was a good size, great water pressure, and it came with the disposable toothbrushes, combs, cotton pads and a hairdryer. Staff were very friendly! Checkout was also at 12pm which is rare. It’s close to the station and USJ.

Set in Osaka and within less than 1 km of Tempozan Ferris Wheel, Bande Hotel Tenpozan Higashi has a garden, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Good location to UJS just 2000-3000yen by 10min taxi and very nice staff. My child accidentally vomited on the bed and staff gave us extra help at night and cleaned all the messy without penalty.

Set in Osaka, 3.6 km from Tempozan Ferris Wheel, Sakishima Cosmo Tower Hotel features views of the city. Featuring a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The view was amazing, loved the decorated floors and our room was the biggest out of the 7 we stayed in. Close to USJ with a shuttle bus from the hotel.

Featuring free WiFi and a shared lounge, Porta Inn is set in Osaka, 4 km from Universal Studios Japan. The hotel is further away from central Osaka, but it is close to some of its attractions such as the Osaka Bay or Universal Studios, which you can access via the JR Loop Line. The hotel is also close to the Shin-Imamiya Station, from which you can get to the Kansai Airport using the Nankai Line. The facilities are similar to other Porta Inn hotels in the city but the room size is much comfortably larger as it is located in the suburb region.

Set a 25-minute walk and train ride from Universal Studios Japan (R), Hotel She Osaka features a cafe bar with WiFi throughout the property. Best staff we ever met. Friendly, helpful and fun. Very modern and clean Hotel. 100% recommendation
