THE MACHIYA HOTEL TAKAYAMA ligger perfekt beläget i centrala Takayama och har luftkonditionerade rum, en trädgård, gratis WiFi och en gemensam lounge. Rooms were a lot bigger than expected, and the whole place had a nice, intimate feel to it. The private Japanese bath we hired was just perfect, and really added another layer to the whole experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were relatively comfortable.

It’s a small hotel - only two rooms on our floor which helps with noise and lift being available quickly. Location is great - very close to the station and walking distance to the old town. We enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink at Hid’s Cafe which also does an excellent battered fish and chips. The room was the most spacious we had in Japan with a luggage rack and plenty floor space to leave a second bag open on the carpet. As well as space to hang up clothes if needed. There was also an ironing board and iron which was unexpected. We could charge both our devices using the USB ports next to each bed. The bed was very comfy and noise insulation excellent. There is free water dispenser on the 3rd floor and washing machine and dryer.

Relax Hotel Takayama Station har ett perfekt läge i området Hida Takayama Onsen i Takayama, 2,3 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby, 48 km från Gero Station och 8 minuters promenad från Fuji Folk... The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room had the quality of a high end hotel and was spotless, modern and spacious. I was gladly surprised when we first entered!

Mercure Hida Takayama ligger i centrala Takayama och erbjuder boende med en bar. Everything, so clean, and breakfast was superb!

Chisun Grand Takayama ligger i centrala Takayama, 1 minuters promenad från Takayama station och 2,3 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby. Close to station Great spa Very good breakfast!!

Hotel around TAKAYAMA, Ascend Hotel Collection ligger bekvämt beläget i Takayama och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum med en restaurang, gratis WiFi och en bar. The facilities in the hotel were amazing. There was a private "onsen" (not a natural one), which you could book for 45min for a fee. (somewhere around $15). The room was clean, modern and spacious. The staff was super lovely, we felt super welcome and were able to ask anything without any problem. There was also a map in the lobby featuring all sorts of interesting places and restaurants to visit. Lastly, we had a night at the bar too, and the barman was wonderful. We had some drinks and snacks for a very reasonable price. There is also a laundry room, with 2 in 1 washing and drying machines. You can check availability from the tv in your room (or even the website/app, I believe). However, note that the drying function of the machines is not that good, so you might have to continue drying some clothes in your room.

FAV HOTEL HIDATAKAYAMA West ligger i centrala Takayama, 7 minuters promenad från Takayama station och 1,7 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby. Huge room with lots of extra amenities like a washing machine and kitchenette. Great value for money
