Located in Takayama, 35 km from Takayama Station, Hotel Hirayunomori Annex provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The view was great, the beds were comfy, they gave us tickets to go to the main onsen which was amazing and they even rented us some snow shoes to go walking around the ski resort. Nice place to stay I recommend and I would come again.

Hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from bus stop with nice private onsen. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and delicious.

Tabist Kazeyuki in Takayama provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. Simple but it was good enough to experience ryokan. Private hot spring was great and the room was comfortable & spacious.

A 3-minute walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal, Okada Ryokan Warakutei features Japanese-style accommodations with mountain views. This ryokan has immense charm and felt like an incredible bargain for the price. The staff went above and beyond to be hospitable, were always welcoming, patient and truly sought to understand and address whatever my needs were. The room felt large and had everything needed for a stay where you can relax and unwind from the intensity of everyday life. If it's available, going for the included breakfast and dinner option is a must. The food was high quality, diverse and always changing. This place has it's own onsen, which was freely available to guests throughout the night and early hours of the morning. There were multiple times where I soaked under the stars and had the place all to myself (if you are new to onsen culture, this can be a nice way to ease yourself into it). This place is special and worth revisiting.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. The service is very good. The waiters are good at english. There are free milk, sake, noodles for customers. The room is big and clean.

Very beautifully conceived and all hallways decorated with large vitrines with the most extravagant and beautiful pieces of antiques!! From beautiful sculptures and vases to exquisite carvings and other large and small objects!! Room very large (VERY large for Japanese conditions!!) very nicely decorated and comfortable!! Private Onsen bath on open air !!! What a pleasure!! Dinner and breakfast were SUPER!!! Absolute must to take dinner!!! Absolutely delicious for taste and eyes!!!
