Traveler's Inn Asanebo offers simple but homely Japanese-style accommodation a 7-minute walk from Kawayu Onsen Train Station. Aki and Taka are lovely people. I had great times with them, enjoying delicious home-cooked food. As well as making culinary discoveries, I enjoyed learning more about Hokkaido and Japan in general from them. Their house, located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, near JR station, is very beautiful and cosy. I loved sleeping in the Japanese-style bedroom. The Akan region is magnificent... I'd love to come back soon!

A 3-minute walk from Kawayu JR Train Station, Hotel Parkway features a hot spring baths, karaoke. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby, and a launderette is on-site. The Onsen was excellent, we were in a ground floor room with simple futon on the floor easy to throw back to give you a bit of extra space when not sleeping. Complementary breakfast was very good. Property is well positioned for JR Rail and drives to the Lakes and there walks.
