This hostel is super clean. Location is perfect - cross Lawson and within a walkibg distance to most Onsens. The service is excellent. The owner is very helpful. Highly recommend if you visit Kinosaki Onsen.

Great cozy room with tatami mats. Slept very comfortably. The location is great, close to onsens and food store right outside. Host was fantastic, very friendly and kind, and knowledgeable about the area.

A recently renovated ryokan, Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu offers accommodation in Toyooka. The 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free Wifi. Very beautiful room in Japanese style with lots of visually appealing details. Friendly and professionally run. Possibility to book private onsen. Beautiful yukatas (kimono-style bathrobes) were provided to wear while walking to all the different onsen (hot springs) in town, which was a lot of fun.

A 16-minute walk from North Disaster Earthquake Monument in Toyooka, Miharaso features accommodations with access to a public bath. Great breakfast was provided, and the staff are super nice even if there's a language barrier. It's a bit of a distance from the Onsen town but the staff picked us up from the train station and brought us to the hotel, then dropped us back off at the Onsen town with a pickup time and location to meet them when it was time to leave. They even loaned us umbrellas due to the rain. If you're on a budget but want to go to Kinosakionsen town and have a nice stay you can't do much better than this
