The facilities were amazing, and the staff could not have been more helpful. They made me feel very welcome and looked after!

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. We missed our connection flight and arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the time, Nuno welcomed us with a smile and very patient explanations and made the start of our trip in Madeira very pleasant. Also the rest of the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel's garden is gorgeous and has a nice panoramic view of the sea and was the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with large variety. It is highly recommended.

Overall a fab hotel, spotless clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, lovely ambiance, great staff and great location, will definitely return

Hotel Quinta Bela S.Tiago - Charming Hotels nudi zagrejan bazen na otvorenom, okružen tropskim vrtovima i panoramski pogled na Atlantski okean i Funšal. The staff and facilities were spot on. Couldn't ask for better.

Smeštajni objekat Alexia Room nudi besplatan WiFi, terasu i klima-uređaj, a smešten je u Funšalu, na 8 min. hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Almirante Reis i 1,7 km od znamenitosti Marina Funchal. Alexandra is a great host, super friendly, and helpful. She personally welcomed us, even though we arrived very late. The room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was great, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and some sweets 😋. She also have some fruit and welcome snacks ready for us.

Objekat Apartments Madeira Barreirinha, koji se nalazi u Funšalu, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa besplatnim WiFi internetom, bazenom na otvorenom koji je dostupan cele godine i besplatnim privatnim parkingom... The staff was amazing. Luciano and Orlando are very kind and welcoming. Luciano made an effort to fulfil our requests on check-in and his colleague Orlando checked us in relatively late on a Friday evening. They gave us the best advices on the best places to eat espetadas, fish and bolo do caco. And also where to drink poncha close by. It was a very good advice to avoid driving after drinking a 50% alcoholic drink 😅 The facilities are great and depending on the room you book, the views are amazing with views to the ocean and the east part of the city. The building has an underground parking and they give you the keys for you to park inside, which is extremely handy given the lack of parking in the public streets all over the city. We didn't use because we went in January, but they also have a swimming pool on the rooftop!

The apartment is fully equipped. It is a 45-minute walk from the city center, but a bus station is about 5 minutes away, or a taxi will cost around €10. The view from the balcony is splendid, overlooking the entire Funchal. It is a 3-minute walk to the Botanical Garden and 5 minutes driving to the main express road (easy access). The hosts are very responsive and helped us with all our requests. They have a book of useful information, from bus schedules to the best restaurants or activities to do. They have a private parking slot, for free.

Objekat Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V smešten je u Funšalu, a u ponudi ima smeštajne jedinice sa sopstvenim balkonima. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
