I also liked the security of needing a key card to use the elevator. It's such a busy area and people easily go in and out They have a nice lobby too that we use often for our meals, coffee and tea.

Located in the heart of Taipei's commercial, shopping and entertainment districts on Zhongxiao East Road with 4 minute walk from the Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station, Eastin Taipei Hotel is not only... It was a place suitable for solo-traveler and budgeted one. First time for me to book a single room without windows in the room. At first, I was hesitated if the room would be safe. During the staying experience, emergency floor plans are in visible places, and it wasn't that bad to stay in a room without windows. (No sunshine to wake me up) The hotel is located in the popular part of Taipei (East area), close to everything. Even MRT is just downstairs. What I like the most is the bathroom and showers. Super clean and quite safe even those are shared ones.
