One block from the Las Vegas Strip, The Platinum Hotel offers indoor and outdoor heated pools and is featured as a non-smoking, non-gaming facility. Fantastic hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Huge room, very comfortable, with a balcony and a great view of the surroundings. Just a few steps to the heart of Vegas. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, although located in the center. Breakfast is only available on selected days of the week, but this is not a problem - you can get it in the neighboring hotel. Definitely worth recommending.

Desert Rose Resort ligger knappt 2 kvarter från Las Vegas Strip, men har lyckats undvika kasino-atmosfären. Resorten har en stor uppvärmd utomhuspool omgiven av palmer. It’s right on the strip, in front of Luxor. I liked the fact that it doesn’t have Casino on site. It’s suites with basically everything such as fridge, dishwasher, oven etc… if you want to save money from eating out and cook at home, that’s the place. The pool was nice! On Saturday there was DJ for 2 hours. Stuff was friendly! There is no daily housekeeping, but if you ask they will clean your room. Good fitness room. Overall good and affordable place to stay.
