This New Orleans property consists of 2 historic mansions that are across the street from each other and within a 15-minute walk of the French Quarter. The house and the room are old, which showed everywhere including with the appliances. On the other hand, the house and room are old in a good sense, full of charme and it felt authentic and interesting staying there. Beds were comfortable. It is on a stately street, ideally located between French Quarter, Frenchmen Street and Treme. Everything is in walking distance. Parking in front was available, the interstate just some blocks away. Free coffee, tea, water, and cereals. Manager was very nice and helpful.

Hello - This place is brilliantly located and lets be honest. Its SUPER cheap. You get exactly what you should expect for a place in this price range. It's Old. Raw and not cool. But again: it's exactly what you have paid for! The reception staff were great . THe bed comfortable.

It has every amenity (including a teapot) and Lore provides little touches that make your stay both comfortable and welcoming. There is also a lovely garden pool area for relaxing after busy days in the city. The bonus is walkability in a beautiful neighbourhood and easy access to the French Quarter. I highly recommend it and hope to visit again.
