The Pacific Ocean is less than 5 minutes’ walk from this Santa Barbara property. Continental breakfast and free WiFi are provided. A refrigerator is included in each room. This hotel was new and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels were fluffy, all elements that we appreciate in nice hotels. It was nice to be able to open our window for fresh air, and the room was quiet and comfy. The location made it possible to walk along the beach and to restaurants. Parking was free and had enough spots for the rooms in the hotel. Coffee and tea were available at all times, as well as yogurts and cold water bottles. In the morning, they provided croissants and muffins from a local bakery. We might recommend having fruit to be included in the breakfast foods. We will definitely plan to stay at this hotel again in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid September 2023. The hotel was exactly as pictured when we booked. Light and airy and spotlessly clean. When we arrived we weren't sure about the location, as it's close to the 101 Freeway, but it turned out to be great as you can walk to most of the attractions in Santa Barbara. The staff were excellent. Really good communications about breakfast (which was excellent), housekeeping, night cover phone numbers and even a free glass of wine at happy hour. We stayed in room 9 and enjoyed the little balcony (big enough for 2) where we sat and watched the sun go down behind the mountains.

We were able to enjoy all our meals outside despite cool November weather. The hotel is right across the street from the beach on the cyce/pedestrian pathway making for excellent access to the city's fantastic bike path network.
