The Harbour Market in the old city is 1 km away. beautifully preserved old infrastructure, all very neat and clean, room service was fast and efficient, the staff was beyond attentive, friendly and they made the stay even more pleasant

My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Don is an exclusive boutique hotel with art deco architecture and contemporary interiors. Really cool location right opposite the fantastic old market. The room was beautiful. Stunning in a supercool designer kinda way. Super comfy bed. Great omelette. Wonderful staff member on reception.

Located in Montevideo, Puertovideo provides accommodation with rooftop pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The apartment was well-furnished and it had a functional and well-equipped kitchenette. Towels and bedding were pleasantly scented. The internet connection was surprisingly fast. Although the immediate surroundings left something to be desired, the port and historic city center were conveniently just a short walk away.

Boasting a shared lounge, FAUNA Montevideo is situated in Montevideo, less than 1 km from Independencia Square. Fauna was our favorite stay while traveling through Uruguay. The room was cozy and impressive. The space is exceptional and the hosts were so kind. They helped me book a vineyard tour and always was responsive with helpful tips. While they had coffee and fruit for breakfast, we didn't mind since we wanted to explore local cafes. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, particularly couples visiting Montevideo and I hope to be back some day!
