Forse unico difetto la colazione non così abbandonate per quanto la qualità del cibo è elevata. A due passi dal mare e in ottima zona.

The room was well designed, with good space even disabled friendly. The lift was big and we could all go at once with all our luggage in it. We did not have breakfast so can not comment on that. Location very good walking distance to the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Vorrei sottolineare come un vantaggio: 1) pulizia giornaliera 2) camera spaziosa (avevo una camera doppia normale) 3) buona insonorizzazione 4) aria condizionata non rumorosa (era inverno e funzionava per il caldo) 5) ottima posizione (400 m al terrapieno medio, è comodo camminare a destra e sinistra per 2-3 km) 6) la presenza di una mini-cucina (molto utile per la colazione, poiché tutti i bar sono aperti dalle 09:00 e la colazione è necessaria prima ) 7) personale disponibile 24 ore su 24 alla reception.

We had two rooms and I loved the fact that each floor only had three rooms so it almost felt like we had the floor to ourselves. I also liked the deck we had with a view.

I absolutely loved the location, I liked that it wasn't in the middle of the busier part of Montevideo but had everything you needed. My room was neat, featuring a comfortable bed and a delightful balcony. I shared a well-kept kitchen, common area, and bathroom with just two other guests, ensuring a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The immediate surroundings were fantastic, with two charming bars just 20 meters away on either side of the street. Don't worry about noise – it won't disrupt your sleep. Additionally, a large supermarket is conveniently located within less than 100 meters, making it easy to grab essentials. For dining options, the area offers a variety of choices, including Armenian cuisine. For an authentic Uruguayan experience I would recommend "Parrillada El Alemán," (15 min walk) a restaurant featured in Anthony Bourdain's food documentary "Parts Unknown" during his visit to Uruguay. Try the sweet "morcilla"!. Not too far away but easily reachable by bus is "Escaramuza," a beautiful bookstore and cafe. Or grab one of the best "chevito" I had at "El Tinkal" with a view of the ramblas. Moreover, the beach is just a short 15-minute walk away from the house, providing a perfect escape to the sun and sea. The entire house is not only clean but also well-maintained, and the host, Veronica, was incredibly helpful, making me feel truly welcome. With bus stops just a few minutes away, it's convenient to explore Ciudad Vieja and beyond. Overall, my stay was enriched by the delightful combination of a great location, comfortable amenities, and the warm hospitality of Veronica. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Uruguay.
