It is a rare gem, a tasteful mix of the old and the new (it did actually use to be a foundry).

Additionally, other employee recommendation to visit the captivating farm of Babylonstoren was a stroke of brilliance. Overall, my stay at this hotel apartment was an absolute delight. The impeccable accommodations, coupled with the warm and attentive service from the staff, made it a truly memorable experience. Thanks to the outstanding recommendations from two exceptional employees, I had the pleasure of discovering the enchanting Fishhoek and the captivating Babylonstoren farm. Last minute booking and was able to check in immediately. Was much appreciated. Very friendly owner. Always a great location in De Waterkant, but despite being close to the bars in the area, it was still surprisingly quiet.

We received a good reception from Guido & Henk since day one. The house was neat, furnished with everything you need in a home. The location is convenient to everything ie mall, Restaurants, Parks, Beach, V&A waterfront. We stayed for 9 days and felt like home. Parking is on the street but very safe with a security guards day & night. I would recommend the Purple House at anytime.
