Set in Pretoria, 2 km from University of Pretoria, Protea Hotel by Marriott Pretoria Loftus Park has an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace. I have to say when I booked the hotel to attend the post-graduate ceremony of my husband, I had only one criterion, which is for us to stay within 10 mins of the university of south Africa. So when we reached the location of Marriott Protea, not only were we given early check-in at 1 pm, the staffs were excellent. The value of the hotel not to mention its location and it's amenities exceeded our expectations! We will be back. The location while next to the stadium didn't have any congestion as there was no game or concert that weekend. We will certainly be back.

Located opposite The Union Buildings, this 5-star hotel is is elegantly designed with marble flooring and chic furnishings and situated in the centre of Pretoria. Rooms are good, specious but fecilities are very old , TV , phone, fridge are old. but over all its good place to stay .
