A very warm welcome from our host Felicity. the property was exceptionally clean. A lovely big bathroom. Comfortable bed and peaceful environment. Everything we could have wanted for breakfast with some delicious local bacon. In the morning we had the company of two horses, which we loved.

Beautiful apartment, “cabin“ might be the architecturally correct term, but it was certainly more than that: Spacious, with enclosed court/garden area, winter garden; bathtub comfortable for two; living room with stove - it lit immediately well and added a warm and romantic flair. Surprise: the breakfast “invitation“, i. e. eggs, butter, strawberry jam and milk in the fridge, and bread. Thank you so much, Sarah! We slept very well, the bedding is of high quality and the mattress was perfect for us. It was very quiet. For dinner: In 15 minutes walking distance there is a nice pub, the Turfcutters. Friendly people, good dinner. We will certainly come back if we are in the area again.

Lying in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The White Buck is a former country house boasting 20 bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. Clean. Lovely location. Beautiful room

The New Forest Inn er staðsett í Lyndhurst og Mayflower Theatre er í innan við 16 km fjarlægð. Boðið er upp á veitingastað, reyklaus herbergi, ókeypis WiFi og bar. The breakfast options were plentiful and the food was excellent. There were local beers on tap. The menu is a gastro pub menu and the food was outstanding. Just be aware that the rooms are above a pub, so you will hear the “locals” enjoying a pint! It was, however, quiet by 11:00 or earlier. Manager, Rob, was most accommodating as were Hannah, Alicia, Verity and Kyle. We also enjoyed chatting with the housekeeper, Violette. The New Forest Inn was located near trail heads into the New Forest. Downtown Lyndhurst is a one mile walk and has many shops, food establishments and The New Forest Heritage Museum.
