Set in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Juma cottages features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. All units in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.

Facing the seafront, Romlan is a guest house offering a 3-star accommodation in Tuk Tuk. It has a private beach area, garden and private parking. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Set in Tuk Tuk in the Sumatra region, Toba Boi has a terrace and mountain views. With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The property offers quiet street views. All is good, just tired with roosters at the early morning! Near accommodation you find best restaurant with life music in the evening, owner was friendly and helpful! Price is so nice!

Great place to stay on Samosir Island. Good rooms for decent prices, located at a quiet and nice garden with a view on the lake. Also good working wifi inside the room. In their restaurant, opposite the road, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also rent a scooter which is very usefull at Samosir if you want to make excursions by yourself. And a friendly and helpfull host. What more do you need?

We had the room in front of the lake and it was just perfect :) The garden is so beautiful, the water in front is so peaceful and the family is so nice!

Lovely and cozy guesthouse. Fantastic food with great view to the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely come again.
