This property is off the main road so even as a single woman walking back at night from the temple I always feel safe. There is also someone there to chase any monkeys away. Tej Prakash is very helpful. If there is anything needed, they are immediately accommodating. I feel comfortable even with doors open. I don’t feel like anyone is stealing or cheating. Such good people!

Anukampa Paying Guest House is located in Agra, 1.7 km from Taj Mahal, and provides free WiFi. Anukampa was a breath of fresh air! We stayed one night for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, after 5-weeks of traveling around India. The staff was friendly and hospitable, the room was sparkling clean, with hot water in the shower and comfortable beds. I would recommend this place to anyone wanted to visit the Taj Mahal. 😀

Situated in Agra, 2.2 km from Taj Mahal, Max Guest House features a terrace and views of the garden. Free WiFi is available. Great clean spot in Agra. Max was super helpful with all our needs, gave us a larger room, and even booked our train tickets back to Delhi. The spot is not in the central tourist area so it’s less overwhelming and quieter. Highly recommend!
