Lovely staff, very cozy atmosphere in the common room. Shower room was the largest I've seen on any trip to Japan, which is excellent for taller people. Beds were comfortable and had good privacy. Excellent value for location.

I loved everything in this hostel! The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

O Shabby House é uma casa tradicional japonesa com 60 anos, situada em Sapporo. A Estação Nishisenjuyojo fica a 3 minutos a pé da propriedade. Mr. Kudo is super attentive, and we had some great conversations, plus he gave me some recommendations for sight-seeing to squeeze a bit more out of my last day. The room is very nice for the price, everything you need and no more, understanding that you're gonna be sharing the space with other travelers (plus hanging out over breakfast is very nice). Well-connected thanks to the streetcar, which makes it only 20 minutes to the city center. I genuinely only had positive experiences with this guest house, and the "negative points" are just nitpicks.
