The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is very good! They rent bicycles for the day which is a plus. Highly recommend!

Hoshikuzu, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Naoshima, 500 metres from Naoshima Pavillion, 500 metres from Naoshima Christ Church, as well as 2 km from Gokaisho Art House Project. it was a beautiful, traditional and historic stay. the whole experience was seamless - we got off the ferry, we went to the store that rents bikes that is affiliated with this house, we left our luggage and rode around the island for the day and when we were ready, we went to the house and our luggage was waiting for us and the next day the process was repeated in reverse.

Guest House Wakabaya is situated in Takamatsu, a 5-minute walk away from Hanazono Station of the Kotoden Nagao Line. The Kotoden Nagao Line can be accessed from Takamatsu-Chikko Station. Excellent stat at the Guesthouse, Takeshi is a truly wonderful and informative host who gave lots of great advice regarding transport and places to visit. Will be back again.

This was such a surprise. It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

Beautiful, comfortable home which was a very short walk to Noguchi Museum in the nicest neighborhood. Close to a ton of great restaurants but very quiet and peaceful. We wished we lived here!

Wonderful revival of the old bath house as a cafe and the former owner's residence as a guesthouse in the historical street of Tadotsu. We enjoyed the stylish place and the new onsen-style bathroom with a ceramic tub. Comfortable beds and complete privacy at the guesthouse.

Set 3 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, Aoisora Aoiumi no guest house - Vacation STAY 75101v offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The place was really clean, and had everything that we could need all laid out for us when we arrived. The owners are the most wonderful people you'll ever meet, a kind older couple who live across the street from the building and speak perfect English. We often chatted and they let us use the bikes as often as we wanted. They will happily answer any question and sent us information in advance about how to access the hotel from Takamatsu station.. The room is really lovely, with a cool tatami room and kitchen, and traditional futon beds. The location is really peaceful and easy to access public transport. Just bear in mind that there is no lift, but the building is only 3 floors so it's only minimal stairs. All in all, I highly recommend this place, you will absolutely not regret it!

The hosts lived on site, very professional, and still very easy to approach with questions or concerns. They provided handmade guidebooks (in Japanese and English) for the neighborhood and also the general Takamatsu/Kagawa area. You can tell that they are comfortable hosting international visitors. The apartment was spotless and a great place to stay for multiple nights. Our room was a good size for two people. Three might've been a squeeze if staying for more than one night. 24-hour grocery store within walking distance was a plus. Parking is available on site as well. The hosts also offer free use of bicycles or umbrellas, if needed. Just ask! Also, the AC unit was so quiet that we didn't notice it was running; that was mindblowing. =)
