ゲストハウス喜舎場, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ishigaki Island, 1.7 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, 2.9 km from Tadahama Beach, as well as 500 metres from Yaeyama Museum. From arrival, Kishaba-san went out of his way to invite me to the local Kyuubon celebrations over the next few nights, and while there he introduced me to his family and a couple others. When I left to Naha and stayed at another hostel, I felt surprised by how much more comfortable and welcome I felt staying at Kishaba. Amenities are suitable, location is great, facilities are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, spacious, and private. Above all though, staying here made my trip to Ishigaki that much more memorable.

Everything was impeccably clean, and the family dinner each night is something special. I stayed on Christmas, and I enjoyed getting to know the family, staff, and the one other guest a little. Everyone tried to speak a little English with me so I wasn't left out of the conversation! Kitchen is very well stocked, and common areas are really nice and comfortable. It would be really relaxing for a longer stay.

Featuring quiet street views, Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 features accommodation with terrace, around 1.2 km from Naarasa Beach. It is located 1.2 km from Kondoi Beach and offers luggage storage space.... The property is located on a quiet (even for Taketomi) corner of the island in the middle of a beautiful garden. The room was cozy and clean. The decorations and details made it feel like “it was from a picture book” to quote my wife. The owner is a very nice lady that helped us feel very welcome on the island and we enjoyed the homemade breakfast in the garden the next morning.

ゲストハウス石垣 is situated in Ishigaki Island and features a shared lounge. Guests can make use of a garden. Rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. One of the owners, Andy is also an instructor of snorkelling, and I had so much fun in the sea. Strongly recommend!
