Host - Yumiko-san is one of the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met. She was extremely helpful - she informed us of the best route to travel when getting to her place from another city. When we arrived, she recommended a place for dinner, helped us make a reservation and even brought us there. Needless to say the dinner was amazing. She also shared spots that we should visit given our limited time at Mt Fuji. Yumiko-san is also thoughtful - she noticed that I was coughing at night and made a honey lemon drink for me in the morning to have with breakfast (breakfast was also great by the way)!Lastly, Yumiko-san is passionate about hospitality and the Fuji area. She was nothing but welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property - The house is absolutely spotless, cosy and boasts a great view of Mt Fuji. We had everything we needed and left wishing that we had stayed longer!

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The guest house is right in front the Yamanakako and it is perfect view for Mount Fuji from your room. It is just a small guest house with 3 bedroom, a common area for relaxing and tiny kitchen with all the necessities eg oven, fridge and microwave. The host is a very nice young guy and speak very good English. He is very helpful, recommended nice dinner and activities around the guest house. He even use heater to warm the blanket prior our arrival, very thoughtful.

Situated in Fujiyoshida, 2.8 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 7 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Guesthouse Arakura offers air conditioning. Located just across the road from the train station this was just the perfect spot. The guesthouse is a big tatami room above the family restaurant with a shower and toilet downstairs The futons were the comfiest we’ve had in Japan and loved the little blinds divider so we could separate the kids and adults at night, like 2 little rooms. No cooking facilities as such but had access to hot water and a microwave. Good hot shower and heat pump kept us warm in the cold winter days. Great stay, highly recommend

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. The location is not far from the bus station. The property has a free bike rental. Everything was provided and the room were spacious.

晴家(HALELUYA) Guest House in Fujikawaguchiko provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. We felt very welcome, the place was clean and warm, and we even had the luxury of a direct view of Mount Fuji. The owner was very welcoming and took the time to show us around. The location is ideal, easy to get to by bus from Kawaguchiko station. What's more, there are bicycles available, so we could easily explore the surrounding area. I can't recommend it enough!

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. It was the best hostel we’ve never been.

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. We love how gentlemen’s the owners is-he did pick our luggage and keep the luggage before the time check in- and also pickup us at the station when we are done sightseeing- he did pick our luggage directly to the room and let us to leave the luggage and let him do it- he so kind

Open from July 2017, Guesthouse Murabito is nestled just a 2-minute stroll away from Lake Yamanaka. Host is very kind and helpful, one of the best ever.
