The property suggested a nearby car park, which we were able to find easily (though the pay machines were a bit dodgy with international credit cards) and it was only a short stroll to the house. Instructions to get in were fairly strait forward. The rooms were as described - a good sized queen and separate single with adjoining bathroom. I'm sad I didn't get to try out the awesome bath but the double shower was great! The location is excellent, with a short stroll to many eateries and the main shops etc. Mini bar fridge was appreciated.

Avenue House is located in Bakewell, within 2.4 km of Haddon Hall and 3.3 km of Chatsworth House. Built in 1900, the property is within 2.8 km of Ashford Castle. Free WiFi is available. The room was fantastic (room 7). Yes, there are more stairs up to this level but we couldn't fault anything.

Located in a listed building in a pleasant area of Shropshire, The Town House offers room-only accommodation. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. This room was absolutely fabulous. A four poster bed that was so dreamy so comfortable , a wonderful bathroom and all the added little treats made available to us. The staff were so helpful and friendly. An idyllic building in the centre of Ludlow. Highly recommend!!! The deli in town is where you return the keys - highly recommend the sausage rolls!!!!

Situated in the heart of Chester, the Grosvenor Place Guest House offers free WiFi. Within the city walls, this Georgian townhouse is just a 10-minute walk from Chester Racecourse. The hosts are such warm, friendly people—they made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in and took time to point out places of interest and share some recommendations for eating out etc.! My room was compact but well thought out, cosy and quiet. Happy with what I got for the price I paid & I would 100% stay again :)

Situated within 10 minutes’ walk of March town centre, The Causeway Guest House offers free off-road parking and free WiFi to all guests. Very good breakfast. The best coffee we had in England. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very fond of children.
