Situated in Santa Marta, Viajero Santa Marta Hostel features accommodation with a terrace swimming pool and a rooftop bar with a city view. This was my second stay at the hostel. The staff is really nice and helpful (special thanks to Maria), the pool/bar area is wonderful, and the dorms are very clean and spacious. And there's hot water in the shower!

Hostal Vista Verde Minca features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Minca. Providing a bar, the property is located within 19 km of Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

Set in Minca, 18 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Finca Hostal Bolivar - Casa Quinta offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Nicholas was very helpful. Great views and location close to town and great restaurants. Bit of an uphill walk to Casa Quinta, but worth it.

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in El Zaino. It's a familiar place right in the jungle. The whole hostel is made in that kind that you're really feelin the nature which surrounds you. The workers are nice and the food is good. Especially the tours with Sam are an exciting experience. The only thing is, don't forget to bring enough money in cash. Nowhere in this area is an atm! Thx guys for the familiar atmosphere and the nice days I had with you!

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Arrived at finca late, I came dying the low season so I was the only person there. As someone with very little Spanish and having been dropped off in the woods by a motor taxi across a river. (they're safe don't worry). I was a little skeptical and thinking "where the hell am I". I was quickly brought to my dorm room, no one was there - after coming from parting in Cali this was needed. I basically paid £9 or 45,000 pesos for a private ensuite Gonzalo looked after me and we had conversations through Google translate. He was so accommodating. Doing laundry, being attentive with delicious food. I would most certainly come back again. Remember to being cash - as most places in Tayrona take cash only. La Fonda were very accommodating and took care and so did Tayrona entrance I'd recommend this place to anyone, it is the essence on tranquil

Located in Santa Marta, less than 1 km from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach, Imagine hostel features air-conditioned rooms and a bar. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The place is well located and very nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. It is a very cool place to relax! I enjoyed the breakfast and also the fresh juices available at the bar in the evening. There is also a lovely cat as a bonus! I highly recommend!

So beautiful hostel and very clean!! The vegetarians food are very good! The people working there are so kind, thank you!! Would love to come back xx
