Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. What can I say? This hostel is just perfect! Clean, cozy, modern, good location, nice staff... you name it.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. Room is clean and comfortable to stay, mattress is super comfy. We had a very good sleep for the night. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were late for our bus to Mishima station for Kyoto, and rooms were fully booked on the day, fortunately the host helped us to make resevation at nearby hotel. We had a lovely experience. Highly reccomend this place.

Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host was amazing, being so nice and caring with us, as well as helping us plan the trip. Great location, very good breakfast and very comfy beds. I strongly recommend.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. One of my absolute favourite stays, the staff are so friendly, the place it’s self felt so authentic and clean. Could not recommend it enough!

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. The bed was super comfortable, the owners are very sweet. Close to the station.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Good location, wonderful view of Fuji, easy to take bus , only 3 mins walk to bus station. The place is very clean and cozy, international, although it‘s mixed dormitory with man, you still feel safe there.

We loved our stay at Tocoro, staff was super friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. So, the bathrooms and shower rooms were Amazing! Defenitely a Place to reccomend for an enjoyable stay near Fuji-san area. Grazie!!
