It’s a full tatami Japanese style hotel with onsen very close to Kyoto Station. There are so many perks of staying here, like free massage chair, free hot drinks (latte, etc), free ramen every night, free refreshments after onsen (ice cream & yakult drink). The onsen is amazing and they also have an amazing japanese buffet breakfast. Imagine endless ebi tempura, ebi furai, gyudon, and kaisendon. Free drink (still and sparkling water, flavored soda, coffee, tea) dispensing machines and microwave on the ground floor in dining area. Two washer/dryers (800 yen per full wash/dry). Front desk and cleaning staff were super, although English was minimal. Good internet. Opposite seven-eleven. Long but doable walk to temples. Quiet. Snazzy (and standard) Japanese toilet :)
