700 metres from Filipino Market Sabah, Signel Poshtel, the Rare Gem of North Borneo is set in Kota Kinabalu and offers air-conditioned rooms. The property was so clean, I enjoyed my stay, the bed was big and very comfortable. The stuff was also kind and professional. There are some snacks, ramen, water dispensers, and instant coffee that can be used for free in the kitchen. I forgot my snorkeling kit after checkout, but the managers took care of it, and they collected it, and I went to take it the next day. Thank you, Signel Roshtel, I highly recommend it and see you again when I visit Malaysia KK next time.

Room is truly clean and modern, exactly as pictured! Staff is very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. Location is central, easy to call grab/taxi to go places in the city area within minutes. Looking from the outside it is a very unassuming place, inside you will feel transported to a different place. Didn't mind climbing a few set of stairs to get up, I needed it anyway after all the eating!

Tot està cuidat fins l’últim detall i organitzat amb molt bon gust. L’Esther, la Vinah i la Irene han estat súper amables, bones hostes, pendents de les nostres necessitats i donant-nos consells. The staff are very prompt with their replies and constantly checks in with you before and during your stay. Even after check out, the staff will follow up to see if any improvement could be made. The room(!!!) was extremely clean and comfortable. Tiny details like portable battery was even provided -- very well thought. The washroom was super clean and well furnished too, hot water is always running. Within the residence, there was even an area where necessities such as umbrella, waterproof phone sling pouch and hand sanitiser were provided for guests to borrow during their stay. The owner really thinks through what guests may need. Lastly, the photos are true to the actual room. Location was perfect too - close enough to the malls and within walking distance to the waterfront. Can't recommend this place enough, will definitely stay here again if I were to visit KK in future.

Definitely the most comfortable room, bed & bathroom we had in our 4 months travelling through Asia. The hosts are super friendly and communication goes smooth.
