The breakfast was great! the view is amazing. Made me wish that I had stayed longer. Tip: when arriving on the island, ask for "Pousada do Sr Luis" , instead of Cibeles, the locals will know it better 😂

Morango das Palmas features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Praia de Palmas. The remote beach location is everything you can wish for if you need a good rest in a paradise-like location. Palmas beach was one of the nicest we've seen on this side of the island, with a restaurant in front of the accomodation which is part of the same family run business. The staff was super friendly and helpful, food delicious (even though you run out of new options after a few days of eating there the whole day), breakfast was superb, and daily room cleaning was included. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice, despite the lack of AC.
