El Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern 5 estrellas es un alojamiento de propiedad familiar situado en el centro histórico de Lucerna, al lado del lago. We loved everything. The location was excellent. The hotel is close to everything. Although it is on the other side of the train station and pier, it’s actually just a 5 to 10-minute walk. The chapel bridge is between the wall from the station and hotel. Behind the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes of walking, are the Lion Monument and the Glacier Garden. At check in, we knew it was going to be an excellent stay. The concierge, Noah (I hope I spelled his name right), immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us information, tips and suggestions that made life easier for us. The lady who delivered our room service was so very wonderful as well. The customer service is just top notch: professional and yet warm. Everything about our room was just wonderful. It was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was clean and huge, and the view was just to die for. Check out was painless and quick, with the same efficient and yet warm customer service. I can’t say enough good things. If we have the chance, we would love to visit Luzern so we could stay in Hotel Schweizerhof again.

The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

Es un hotel excéntrico (antes era una prision). Las habitaciones son realmente pequeñas pero tienen todo lo necesario. La cama y almohadas eran muy cómodas, y la ducha estaba genial. Las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado (a tener en cuenta si viajas en verano) y tampoco hay mucho lugar para apoyar las valijas o guardarlas. De hecho viajamos con carry on y abrían muy Justo. Sacando eso, el personal es súper amable, el check in es muy accesible y está ubicado en el corazón de lucerna. Se camina a todos lados!

El hotel es hermoso tanto por dentro como por fuera. Parece un castillito. La habitación era amplia, cama muy buena , TV norme, máquina de Nespresso. Situada a 1 cuadra de la estación central de trenes, y a dos del lago . Super céntrico. Te dan un pase gratis para todos los buses y tranvías de la ciudad, aunque en Lucerna no es muy necesario porque todo está cerca, pero sirve ara pasear un poco más lejos y ver la zona no tan céntrica. Excelente todo

We arrive around 7, staff was welcoming and friendly. We stayed in room 1 which is a ground floor with terrace which had a great view of Lucerne mountains! Dinner in the restaurant was great, and the continental breakfast had lots of options including hot food. We hung out at the indoor and outdoor pool in the morning before we left- also beautiful views.

The large rooms in the renovated building are beautiful and have great blackout curtains for children to sleep and nap. Large curtain in the middle of the room allows children to sleep in one side and adults on the other. Great views. Beach club is excellent and family friendly. Play ground on grounds is excellent. Water sports rentals included!
