Staff service was amazing, James Gao Xu went above and beyond what was expected. He even helped with finding flight information and coming to the airport (5 minute walk) to help pickup a family member and carry our luggage. Highly recommend the hotel and staff, especially as it is so close to the airport. Will definitely be staying again.

Great value for money! The rooms and facilities were simple but exactly what we wanted for our travel needs given the affordable price. Air conditioning was a huge plus given the hot weather. The whole facility had a real traditional feel and was set right in amongst the hutongs which was exactly the experience we were looking for. But the real plus of this place would have to be the host Mark and his team. He was so kind and welcoming and with his command of both english and mandarin he was able to help us navigate the city and get the most out of beijing. He also spent the time to chat with us about the history of the place and we learnt a lot. Could not recommend this place enough for those travelers looking for a more authentic, off the beaten path experience in a comfortable and well kept setting.
