Hotel Playa Scondida Baru is a rustic-style lodge on Baru Island, 1 hour from Cartagena by motorboat. Excellent service and location! The couple that managed the property were wonderful and attended to every need.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was a great way to escape the midday heat and crowds on the beach. The food was well prepared. I appreciated that there was always somewhere for hotel guests to sit and relax, even with day time visitors.

The sea had perfect azure color. Breakfast was good and served on time. You can get to the accomodation only by boat from the parking place - from the parking place you have to walk approx. 5 mins to the beach where boat pick you up to the accomodation. The way to accomodation was free of charge and the way back to the parking place was charged (around 2,50 eur per person). The rooms were with privat sitting area ( terrace). Prices in the restaurant and bar were good but everything took them a long time.

Hotel Calamari Baru อยู่ในปลายาบลังกา โดยเป็นที่พักริมชายหาด ห่างจากหาด Playa Blanca 0 ม. The hotel is very cosy and comfortable, the room and facilities were great. The location of the place was perfect as it is right on the beach and with a swim spot in front. the staff was very helpful and kind, they were very accommodating and answer all our queries regarding tours and places to visit nearby. The food was delicious, they had some really good local dishes with fish and a selection of pastas and other dishes for everyone.

SABAI Beach features 200 metres of private white sand beach and free WiFi access in public areas. It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. The staff attention, they were always concerned about our comfort, whether if we wanted something to eat or how was our meals, they even took the food to your room. They served our breakfast the last day before the average breakfast time because our flight left very early. Also, they were very helpful contacting us with someone from the hotel for transportation to the airport for a fair price.
