Located in Megève, 800 metres from Megeve Ski School, Grand Hotel Soleil d'Or provides accommodation with a bar, private parking and a terrace. Truly friendly and helpful service, not intrusive yet very attentive. The location of the hotel is superb. Simple and elegant design where every little detail is considered with care, to both please aesthetically and to be very functional. I enjoyed my room with the small balcony, took advantage of the spa and had a wonderful lunch while listening to live jazz. Many thanks for your hospitality

Are stay was incredibly lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful. They printed out the bus timetable for us, accommodated all our requests and created a warm atmosphere. The food was very good. Breakfast was a buffet including croissants, toast, eggs, local cheeses and yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea. A lot of local products. Dinner was also delicious. It generally consisted of two dishes and one night we had fish and the other meat. We had vegetarians and vegans in our group and they accommodated their needs. We were super happy with our stay and highly recommend. The jacuzzi outside is beautiful and we enjoyed bathing in it while watching it snow.

Fantastic location so close to three ski lifts opening up access to loads of slopes. The hotel and restaurant were full of rustic charm. Great Savoyard cuisine. The staff were all wonderful. Totally want to go back!
