This place is fantastic super friendly people who will go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was great with lots of choices and available till 5 pm. Dinner is fantastic with local and International dishes. Restaurant staff under supervision from Mr Pande are super friendly,polite and helpful. For us there was no need to go anywhere else to eat. The rooms are great the grounds are immaculate with a good size pool with a kiddie section. Refrigerator in the room get complimentary restocked every day and there are complimentary toiletries. Tv has Netflix,Amazon Prime, HBO, Youtube and different Englisch channels. Night security with a 24 hours front desk. Paid airport service which you can book as well for day trips. There is a extensive library with books in different languages.

We had one of our nicest stays ever here. We stayed in the little house which is so beautiful and comfortable. Ayu and Markus are so friendly and welcoming, it is 100% the feeling of a homestay. The garden is beautiful and the little pool is excellent for refreshment. It's far away from the road, so no noise from the street. Only the sound of the mosque comes through. The kitchen is wel equipped and there's a ping-pong and pool table. We were sad to leave after a week!

Wide Sands Beach Retreat features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Pulukan. We recently spent approximately a week at Wide Sands Retreat Medewi. First and foremost, we must commend the staff for their exceptional kindness and hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The bungalow we stayed in was undeniably adorable, offering ample space for relaxation. The highlight was undoubtedly the semi-open bathroom, complete with a shower made from beautifully crafted stone and a rejuvenating bathtub. This unique bathroom design added a touch of luxury to our stay. Wide Sands Retreat Medewi has clearly been meticulously taken care of, with the front beach standing out for its cleanliness and pristine condition compared to the rest of the shore. It was a serene place to unwind and enjoy the ocean. However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. The area surrounding the resort is relatively quiet, with a few older and somewhat decadent resorts with bars nearby. Walking along the shore is advisable, as the streets are not easily walkable. Additionally, due to the lush green surroundings and the semi-open bathroom, it's essential to expect some bugs and ants in your room. This is a trade-off for the beautiful natural setting. Regarding the dining experience, the food was okay, but it could use some additional seasoning or at least salt and pepper available on the table to enhance flavors.
