Staff was exceedingly friendly and caring, even checking multiple times if everything was alright with the room and the meals. The meals themselves were very nice, varied and delicious. The dinner had a large amount of meat for Japanese standards, which was nice. You can reserve the bath in advance for an hour, which is great. The bath itself is very hot and relaxing, I enjoyed it a lot. If I am ever back in Kamogawa, I will be coming back here.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in! The lobby is really impressive. The staff is amazing and helpful. Everything you need is in the hotel (shop, Disney shop, ATM, restaurants) The room is very spacious, the bed are huge (to Japanese and European Standards!) 10mins walk from TDL (much faster than the monorail! And a quiet walk after a day at the park is great), and 5mins walk to Bayside Station, to get to TDS in no time. View on the park is great!

Good location for us as we had very heavy luggage, and were able to stagger 2 minutes from the Chibaminato JR station to the hotel. This was perfect for a day trip to Tokyo Disneyland before heading off from Narita airport. The hotel is top-class, with a great room overlooking the bay. At 1600 Yen the buffet breakfast was excellent value with a great selection. We also enjoyed catching the "upside down" monorail into Chibato to visit the Cultural Folk museum and do some shopping.

The host was very, very nice. He offers a shuttle and a simple breakfast. But you can also reach the house with a bus. He really likes to get to know his guests and even invited us on a trip to a surrounding Prefecture, showing us typical japanese style food and an Onzen. Loved everything about it. Though its in Chiba, its still CLOSE to the train station. 2 min walk. The room is fairly sized. It's not cramped. The amenities are great. Used the onsen. Didn't have time for the gym. Will recommend this hotel. The photos that are posted here are literally what you will get.

Very reasonably priced mid-range hotel with an (almost) 24-hour onsen and rooms much bigger than you'd get for anything close to the same price in Tokyo. Would recommend if going to a conference or similar in the area, although Chiba itself is quite industrial with not much to see or do.
