Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

El Patons Rock Beach Villas está situado en un entorno tranquilo con jardines preciosos, a solo 10 minutos al norte de Takaka, y ofrece conexión wifi gratis y parrilla. Beautiful location near to beach. Villa had everything we needed and was very clean and quiet. Lovely gardens.

El The Rocks Chalets se encuentra en Takaka, a 10 minutos en auto de la playa, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones. We stayed in "Tui" in March. The cabin is in a great location with its own private garden area. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen where you could cook a meal if you were so inclined. We preferred to eat in Tekaka where there are several good eateries. The large bed was comfortable and the rest of the furnishings fitted well. There is a bath on the patio where you can soak while watching the stars or in my case watching the Fantails chase each other around the trees.

Woodland eco retreat se encuentra en Parapara. Heather met us when we arrived (was dark the time we got there) to help carry our bags and show us the way. They had kindly lit the the fire for us so was nice and warm on our arrival. We will definitely be back.
