Wonderful breakfast on the balcony overlooking elephants at the watering hole. Could not be more perfect. Ranger, Rayno, was so professional and with such great expertise. Made the whole experience simply perfect. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a great stay.

Burlington Bush Cottages by The Oyster Collection is set in Salem, 7 km from Viewpoint - Salem and 7 km from Salem Cricket Club. Some units feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Lovely setting in the bush. Quiet and relaxing! We really enjoyed the nature/game walks around the farm, lots of animals to see and the trails are well marked!

Our experience at this lodge was hands down wonderful. The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

The 5-star Pumba Private Game Reserve lodge has views from a private wooden deck overlooking Lake Kariega or the African bush. I liked everything! It’s sophisticated yet cosy experience. Friendly staff, good food. I read some comments about the food suggesting it should be improved. I am really picky with the food. In this game reserve, the food was very good home-made type. Do not expect please fine dining type but a good quality home-made fresh varied food will be served. Safari experience and the lodges (the ones facing the bushes and near the spa) are perfect and stylish. Everything is not new there but that’s on purpose, it’s more like an elegant vintage style. I recommend staying from 3 to 5 days there to just relax, see all the animals and enjoy Spa.

Pictures of the places are excellent, yet I still managed to be blown away upon arrival. The hosts are friendly and interactive with regular updates. You feel very much at home.
