We had a lovely stay at Sunset Beach Resort. As non-divers, we were looking for a relaxed but comfortable place to stay on the island. Though a little bit away from some other, apparently 'happening' places of the island, we thought it was still the best place to stay. We loved the overall aesthetics of the resort - quite unique and fresh compared to other places on the island - and how easy it was to get everything we needed: from transport to tips about activities, not just locally, but also on the mainland. We loved the variety of food and drink options offered on site - prepared with much love and attention as well as other local restaurant recommendations we were given. The patchy WiFi did not bother us as we wanted to disconnect and relax. The owners are very attentive and inspiring people who clearly put a lot of effort into making their guests' stay as hassle-free as possible. We loved just being able to slow down and hang out, read our books , watch the ocean and play with the resident puppy. A fab stay for couples, friends but even for solo travellers who are looking to unwind. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to be back!

Gino's Place - Bungalows and Restaurant se află în Bukit Lawang și include o grădină și un restaurant. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

The Banyak Islands are an exceptionally beautiful group of islands with great clear water and very few tourists so far. Tailana Island is a very pretty little island, jungle inside, beautiful beaches with reefs in front of the island for snorkeling, you can quickly see a lot of small fish. There is also a diving school on Tailana. There is only one accommodation with a few small huts, perfect for relaxing and living life easy. Simple but thoughtful with comfort, little waste produced, the freshly cooked food is very good. Great team, thank you Lukas and Dicky! Snorkeling, diving, kayaking, SUP, boat trips to other islands e.g. Pulau Bangkaru possible Boat transfer available from and to Singkil, best shared with other guests.

MB Palambak Island Resort Pulau Banyak Aceh Singkil se găsește pe malul mării în Pulau Palambakbesar și are o grădină. Palambak island Resort is a little paradise ! The place is very nice, clean and confortable. The island is amazing. The food is really good, tasty, and in good quantity, the bungalow is Cosy (confortable chairs, hamac, Good bed, mosquito net and fan). The staff is really nice and helpful. They offer you free kayak and snorkling and are the only one doing it for free !

Ira Bungalows Pulau Banyak se află în Alaban și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. I loved everything about this property. It is low key, calm, away from mass tourism- it can be a bit of a mission to get there according to weather conditions but totally worth it . Owners Ira and Vicky are lovely people as is their staff of 3 who do an excellent job in a low key friendly way. Bit of a cliche to say they feel like family but after 7 days stay there it is true. I have travelled a lot and it is rare to find a place like this. It is not “flash” and don’t expect all the bells and whistles but if you want a quiet stay with swimming, reading ( and games avaible ) excellent internet and 4G as a bonus then this is the place for you.

Ria and the team were amazing Took very good of us as a family arriving late and departing early in the morning. They prepared an outstanding dinner for us and a take away breakfast.

Sheraton Belitung Resort se află pe malul mării în Tanjungbinga și oferă cazare de 5 stele, biciclete gratuite, un centru de fitness și o grădină. Exactly as photos show, absolutely delightful and one of the best beaches right on the door stop. Pristine water, great start point for island hopping and exploring Belitung. Fantastic staff, restaurant food was delicious could not recommend more!!
