Easily accessible by Grab/Gojek, this resort is a hidden gem that offers great views of the surrounding nature. Room was clean and spacious, with a large poster bed for the resort vibes. The balcony was nice to chill at, and love the outdoor shower with a Balinese vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. The highlight was the infinity pool - perfect to catch the sunset and take in the gorgeous surrounds. Highly recommended!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Abhayagiri - Sumberwatu Heritage Resort is located in Yogyakarta, 14 km from Tugu Monument. Great stay and relaxing. The staff very helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious with local touch. We enjoy local food. The view from Hotel is beautiful with merapi volcano. The landscape of resort have the borobudur landscape and nature touch. There is alot birds and the sound in morning awakenings. We given compliments dinner, thank you so much. The food so delicious especially the desert, thanks to the staff Nurul give us good services.

Very friendly, committed and helpful manager Sita. She arranges everything for you. You can eat all day long and she cooks so great. She even gets Bintang. It’s a little paradise here with a lovely swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The wooden small bungalows are well furnished, clean sheets, watercooker, refrigerator, WIFI, AC, lockable robe, reasonable mattress, a good shower but not very warm. You can ask for a hot shower. And there is a small seat for the bungalow. There is a Moslim school nearby. With prayer but quite short and worked for me as meditation. Sita and her staff really take good care of you. You also can do excursions. By the sea to the right are the most beautiful beaches (10-15 minute walk). Pantai Sadranan, Krakal and Slili (the latter have a very modern restaurant). Puri Brata apresenta bicicletas gratuitas, jardim, um restaurante e bar em Parangtritis. very ethnic and lots of trees. breakfast exceeded expectations. bike facility is provided, we got to bike along the surrounding paddyfield, which was very nice. lots of things to do: play piano, read books, play traditional games, sit on a rocking chair, play with the owner’s puppy. it was a very relaxing experience. the owner is very nice and helpful.
