Because there were 3 doors that had to brr et opened and then locked with keys to get into my room, I felt somewhat trapped. In case of fire, with smoke prohibiting me from finding my keys, what would I have done. Unlikely I know, but because of this detail, I felt slightly unsafe. Otherwise, I loved everything about it. Our hosts were exceptional as were the rooms. Everything was beautiful and special. The people, the food, the premises. The rooms and the common areas were informally elegant without fussiness. Beautiful in every small detail. The snacks that were brought to us upon arrival because we were hungry, the upstairs terrace to lounge and read, the turntable with a small stack of vinyl records, the beautiful multi-course dinner and gorgeous breakfasts, the list goes on and on. We cannot wait to go back and bring the rest of the family with us to meet Annelisa and the entire team!
