Positive section of review
Clean, convenient and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the housekeeping team - they would always greet you with a wide smile despite having to clean so many rooms for the day. It’s considered expensive in China, but definitely worth the money to pamper yourself. Wangfujing shopping street is a 6 to 8 minutes walk away. Train station is literally right ‘below’ at the back of the hotel.

Design of the room is a little outdated. But it doesn’t kill. Pillows were too soft, even though we had two pillows stacked.

Positive section of review
Location of the hotel is really downtown and you access the city within minutes. The hotel is large. My room was at the executive floor, not expected. The room was lovely with a large bed and a large well equipped bathroom. Nice soft floor carpet. Great view over the largest tower in Shenzhen. Super breakfast choice.

In my view the mattrass was kindly hard to lie, but this is personal taste. The windows open just a tiny bit, in this case that was no problem seeing the 30 degree Celsius temperature outside, combined with rain, which gives tremendous humidity.

Positive section of review
The location of the place was very good - shops, restaurants and metro station nearby. The common area is very nicely designed and the kitchen has a coffee maker and a water cooker. Overall it's a fairly quiet area.

We had the only room located on the ground floor right opposite the dining area. This can be a little noisy depending on the other guests. The patio that was advertised as part of the room was actually part of the common area and used for drying the bed sheets by the host. The room was smaller and darker than expected.

Brilliant room at a wonderful price. I have always stayed on the Bund but Bund prices are now excessive. This hotel is within walking distance and offers really good value.
