I found self check in to be somewhat intimidating. I also tried to call customer service to ask a question and only heard a recording in German. I know this is a German hotel, but as many customers come from outside the country, this was also frustrating. It took me a couple of days to notice the sign in the elevator explaining where customer service was located.

We received an upgrade to our room which was very much appreciated. Our room, while the view was not outstanding, was on the quietest side of the hotel. We had opening windows which we love. Location was convenient to buses and the trains. We walked a lot and found this location to be fairly central.

Difficult to come with anything negative. Probably, some tourist may dislike the location cause it's not in the "touristic" area (like Alexanderplatz). However, as Berlin doesn't have an usual city centre as most European cities, it's not a big deal.

The hotel exceed my expectations. Friendly staff, nice and comfortable rooms, variety of food at breakfast. There is a small shop with some late snacks and small things that you might need (like hygiene kits), also, a nice bar for drinks and dinner. U-bahn and bus stops are nearby, so you can travel easily.

wifi was not always properly working. it was too hot in the room and I had to sleep with the air conditioner on since you cannot half-open the window but have to open it fully.

Location isn't the best, near to the shopping area and the Tiergarten but a bit far from the S-Bahn station.

Hotel has been recently renovated, rooms were fancy and comfortable. The breakfast was great.

There are two things that aren't amazing about this hotel. One is the outdated exterior - the building looks old and uninteresting from the outside, luckliy it's much better inside. The other thing is the self-check lobby. Although there is a person who can help with checking in, I prefer normal lobby with a counter.

The hotel room I've got was propably the best I've ever got, very spacious, modern, with good amenities. Hotel is located in interesting area, close to Tiergarten and not too far away from the city center. I can also note that the staff was very helpful when I've lost my room card and I've recieved a new one very quickly.

Logging in our arrival and exit on the terminal. The chap who was supposedly assisting with this didn't come across as overly friendly or helpful though. Lack of kettle in the room (is this a British thing?).

Facilities were very good. The bar area and the table tennis room were great.

Nice hotel. Parking is convenient. Walking to the main attractions is 30+ min. There is public transport but we ended up taking taxi. Still convenient and comfortable place to stay

Some staff were very friendly, some others weren't. Bed is made daily but the actual fitted sheet (which had a stain on it) and blanket case were not in my 3 day stay. Some marks on the wall and some furniture was pretty dusty. There are shops a short walk away, but the bigger markets didn't open on a Sunday or Monday whilst I was there.

The hotel is gorgeous - very calm as you walk in but lots of things to see that you will be able to enjoy including the table tennis room, the bar and the steam room. My room was absolutely huge which was a delight. Bed is super comfy (couldn't even wake up!) Lifts come super fast so no unnecessary waiting. I asked for an iron and it was delivered immediately to my room. Even though it has a pretty low score on here, Wi-Fi was great for me and was always fast and never dropped out. Shower was powerful and the bathroom had shampoo, body wash and plenty of towels. Using the 'out and about' and 'still sleeping' card on the door is very helpful to not be disturbed.

The AC didn't work in the room because of a problem with the central AC, but the hotel provided a fan.

The rooms air-condition was insufficient for when the temperature outside was above 23 degrees. And it seemed like that it shut-down on it self randomly. More than once it had shut down during day and during the night. Only way to get the room temperature to lower enough to sleep was to open the windows after the sun had set. And the way to the top floor / floor 7 was really confusing! And the only cealing light was on the hallway and not in the main room so the room was rather dark making packing the luggages hard.

We booked a room for 3 people, but everything was set up for 2 people - pillows, cups, glasses, towels, duvets. We went downstairs to ask for the third ones to which the girl said she'll send up someone to bring the extras and then she added - "please, with things like this, you need to come before 22.30". At that point it was a few minutes past that. We did not know that in a hotel like this we need to check things like this. Before the staff came up with a pillow and duvet, I also noticed that we're missing the third towel. Unfortunately, when I asked to also bring that up, he either didn't understand or forgot, so I had to go downstairs the second time and bother the Guest Care Center girl again. Other than that, there was a dirty bare foot print next to the window, which seemed weird. And we couldn't close the window completely, it was a bit deformed, so there was a bit street noise.

The breakfast was very nice and we really liked the size of our room. The shower was 10/10. We really enjoyed that the bathroom was separate from the toilet. If 3 people are staying in one room, it's perfect.

Confusing and frustrating check-in process. No wi-fi in the room.

Good size room, great shower, nice gym. LOVE the sauna! 5 min walk to the Nollenplatz subway station. Lots of diners and eateries near the hotel.

Really great breakfast - awesome selection. Room was nice, although water from the bathroom shower did not want to go away. Location very good - a lot of public transport possibilities.

I didn't like that the wifi was so weak and the housekeepers didn't change the sheets and the room was not clean every day.
