Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Surprisingly child safe (from my nosey 1 year old) which was a real plus and took a lot of worry away Porch area by the door was brilliant with having a dog. Really liked that tea coffee and milk was provided.

United Kingdomthe only downside was th hot tub seemed to lose temperature very quick an didn’t heat back up in th time we were in it so we didn’t spend half as much time in there as we would of liked.
we didn’t actually end up staying at th woodland lodge as th hot tub didn’t work so we got upgraded to the kingfisher lodge, very cozy and basically brand new. th hot tub wasnt sheltered in th kingfisher lodge an that was th only downside as th woodland lodge was. that was th reason I booked it. nevermind as th lodge we stayed in was great

United KingdomWe came to york to visit the city the museums and generally sightsee but after the second day we had the site calling us telling us our dogs that we left at the site while we were out were in distress and were barking we leave them at home during the day when home Maintenance came around the cabin banging and clattering twice a day when it only has to be done 3 times a week to check the hot tub at random times this coursed the dogs to bark we was told we can't leave the dogs alone but this is not in the site rules so one of us had to stay with them also there is nowhere to let the dogs off the lead to run them so they were getting frustrated this from a dog friendly site so called the double bed in the main room was only just a double more of a large single and the quilt was about an 18 tog thats not good for the summertime
