From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. A simply unbelievable level of service and friendliness. We recommend this small hotel to anyone and we will certainly be back. A huge shoutout especially to Ismail, Murat and Ant. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm hospitality! We stayed in the loft room which was extremely spacious and beautifully designed. The lower ceilings weren’t actually a problem despite both of us being tall. The room is super-clean and well maintained and is serviced daily. The fresh fruit, teas, beautiful fresh flowers and L’Occitane toiletries noted and much appreciated. There is no lift but this will gently help work off the extra calories picked up from the hotel’s cafe downstairs (50% discount for guests, make sure to try the San Sebastian cheesecake and the spinach quiche). The team will insist on helping you with luggage up and down the stairs so no worries there. World House has a fantastic location around the corner from Galata Tower. Taxis can access the front door directly. You will have ample choice for food and shopping nearby and public transport options are less than 10min walk away. Cannot do a review without mentioning the gorgeous feline family members. You will find them chilling on couches and seats all around the front desk and cafe areas. One of the most heart warming aspects of Istanbul! Thank you World House team for our incredible stay!

Had a superb stay here, great location for daytime sightseeing, local restaurants and nightlife. The staff were excellent, in particular Ismail and Murat who had great recommendations throughout the stay, helped arrange plans, transport help and general advice throughout.

The hotel is amazing with nice interior at a perfect location. I liked the concept of having a nice coffee house right at the entrance. But the Heart of the hotel is its management team. Cagatay and Murat are just amazing people, they become more like your friends who support and guide you in every way possible to make your stay in Istanbul memorable. From tour bookings to any recommendation they are there for you, They even upgraded our room considering our needs without any extra charge. The overall feel of the hotel is just positive. As a bonus, it’s right next to galata tower and Istiklal street (major shopping hub). Will come back!

The hotel is located on quite noisy street. If you're looking for something more tranquil and like getting an early night, then maybe consider a place on a quieter street. The smallest room is really quite small, as shown in the photos. Go for a bigger room if you can!

This small hotel is right in the action! The decor is really chic, the beds are comfortable, strong water pressure in the shower, nice ammenities, the staff are amazing and the coffee shop is the perfect place to start your day and people watch. Murat met us on the first day at reception and he was an awesome host for our entire stay. Anything we needed, he made happen for us. Ishmail was also amazing and always happy to help.

Above all, location and staff (Murat, Chat, Ismal and Homer - maybe the spelling of the name is not perfect). Super helpful staff. Hotel is clean and perfect at least for a short stay (as this is a boutique hotel, for a longer stay one may prefer having more space, breakfast in the hotel etc.)

This hotel is a must. It is in the heart of the hip shopping area and walking distance to most things. The best point of this go two is the staff. They are incredibly helpful and kind. We loved Ismail.

We liked World House Boutique Hotel Galata very much! Our room was very nice, large, very clean. The location was super, we walked by foot all over the city center. The hotel staff was very friendly, they gave us many helpful recommendations. Special thanks to Murat and Gagatay. We will definitely come again!

The decor, connected coffee shop, amazing room, balcony, l’occitane toiletries (big plus!), location & awesome staff all round! Perfect place to base in Istanbul!! Staff at reception couldn’t have been more helpful - lots of small things which added up to a wonderful stay - friendly, helpful with advice, take time for guests & offering coffee or lemonade :) Such a lovely touch! They really do want to make guests feel welcomed. Equally the attention to detail on the room each day was awesome - spotless, water, tea/coffee, fruit, really clean floors, fresh towels.. etc. You notice small details in what the housekeeping staff did each day. Awesome job!

Only downside was (and I expect it's very difficult to escape this in Istanbul) it is right next to a mosque which 'calls' one hour before sunrise.

The location was good. Very short walk to 'the Tunel' and metro which connected with the transport network. The attached cafe was excellent for cake and coffee. The room was very well kept and clean.

This place is truly amazing! The staff is super friendly, the rooms modern, spacious and clean, and the location could not be any better. The beds are comfortable and the staff went out of their way to ship something back to us that we forgot in the hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough! Absolutely will go back.

Exceptional staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful at any time. Rooms are spacious and clean with little amenities such as drinks, fruits, fresh coffee and tea. Although the hotel is located in a busy street it’s quiet at night. The enclosed cafe is great to grab a coffee before heading off to visit the city. Would definitely come back.
