Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.

Ryokan Fuji Heights localiza-se em Fujikawaguchiko, a 1,5 km de Lago Kawaguchi e a 3,6 km de Terras Altas Fujikyu. The host was very kind. He explained to us about the place and then served us tea and cookies in the room. A traditional Japanese hospitality experience exactly as we wanted. Excellent location near 2 restaurants that we really enjoyed.

Private Hotel Rei situa-se em Fujikawaguchiko, a 7,1 km de Lago Kawaguchi, e dispõe de acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e um terraço. Yoshi, was the best host who went out of his way with his pleasing smile to take care of my mother and me. We had trouble hiring a car and he actually drive us to the car rentals and tried to help us.

Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge apresenta um jardim, salão partilhado, um terraço e restaurante em Matsumoto. Beautiful accomodation, the food was incredible. We were nervous about the food but it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend for a trip in Kamikochi. Brilliant location to climb Mount Yakedake.

Localizado apenas a 1 minuto a pé do Lago Kawaguchiko, o Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel apresenta acomodações em Fujikawaguchiko, perto da Ponte Kawaguchiko Ohashi. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our Japanese style room was large, super clean and with a view to Mt Fuji. The beds were made on the floor, cosy and surprisingly comfortable. The onsen was nice and the amenities smelled wonderfully. The breakfast was like a small Japanese banquet everyday! Everything was delicious! The best of all was the staff, always happy to help and glad to see us. We highly recommend this hotel for a true Japanese experience!

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Hands down the greatest place we've ever stayed at in Japan. The staff were extremely friendly, paying attention to personal touches, and making you feel valued and welcome at all times. The room was beautiful, with comfortable bedding, and the food in the restaurant is delicious and great value for money. The friendliness of the staff was however unlike we have ever stayed before. Thank you all! We will be back 😊

Breakfast was simple but absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and even offered us snow shoes and kids toys to play in the snow The onsen experience was unique, bare in mind the onsen between male and female switches daily Staff also made the effort to cater our dinner last minute as it was snowing heavily outside
