Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Hands down the greatest place we've ever stayed at in Japan. The staff were extremely friendly, paying attention to personal touches, and making you feel valued and welcome at all times. The room was beautiful, with comfortable bedding, and the food in the restaurant is delicious and great value for money. The friendliness of the staff was however unlike we have ever stayed before. Thank you all! We will be back 😊

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. One of Japan's most beautiful places to stay. Everything was perfect from the initial shuttle bus meeting us at the train station.. The staff were wonderfully helpful from the front desk to the restaurant. The kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were excellent. The onsen were beautiful and we were fortunate to be able to sit in the outdoor baths while the snow fell. It's also literally, physically the closest accommodation to the Snow Monkey Park. There's nowhere closer than Senjukaku.

Hotel Fuki no Mori nalazi se na 20 minuta vožnje besplatnim hotelskim autobusom od Železničke stanice JR Nagiso. Gosti mogu da uživaju u šetnji po vrtu ili živopisnoj okolini hotela. The staff were exceptional catering to our every need and the food was unusual and fantastic. It felt like a very authentic experience. The onsen was fabulous

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. Without requesting, they sent a chauffeur to drive us from the station to the hotel on a rainy night. The food is great, the baths are large, and the rooms are cozy. Top class service.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from historic Togakushi Shrine, Oshi Ryokan is traditional lodging accommodation in the peaceful mountain area, which used to cater for pilgrims. The best place/food/people in my whole life! Period! What are you waiting for??!!

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. One of my favorite ryokans, I stayed there for 2 nights, great facilities, great diner, great location for Snow monkey park as very near to Yudanaka station, and great staff. Especially the two ladies who manage the place are so kind and very hospitable. I have the outdoor onsen just for myself after long trek at Snow Monkey park, love it!
