Helpful hosts provided a useful information document before my stay which I really appreciated. Lots of nice touches around the place, including a record player. Great place to relax for a few days. Bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Beautifully furnished. Large comfortable beds, good for tall adults. All 3 bedrooms were good and no-one would feel they were short-changed. Dog walking from the cottage - on-lead in the fishing club area but access to footpaths outside this area where off-lead is acceptable Countryside code permitting. Good pubs nearby but also good equipment and storage in kitchen to make own meals (large fridge freezer, range cooker, good knives.)

Saddleworth'ta, Clayton Hall Müzesi'ne 15 km mesafede tarihi bir binada yer alan The Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth, bahçe ve barbekü olanakları sunan bir tatil evidir. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

Cottage Retreat near Peak District and Chatsworth House, Matlock'un yakınındaki Tansley'de yer almaktadır. Chatsworth House ve Peak District Milli Parkı evin yakınındadır. The cottage was perfect. Coffee machine was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Location was a 30 minute walk from Matlock and close to the pub!
