The staff (Seongmi & Yoshi ) were tireless to provide everything that was needed for a great stay. Also, in the arrival day, there was a typhoon hitting Kyoto and if it wasn't for Yoshi contacting us and letting us know how to proceed and which routes to take to Yudanaka, we would have probably end up stuck in Kyoto for a few days. The room was perfect, exactly as expected. Yoshi and Seongmi provided great tips during all our stay, not only for things to do/eat in the region, but also for the rest of our trip.

Feeling immediately at home by the family's hospitality. Besides serene mountains in the heart of nature and amazing snow conditions within walking distance from the retreat, the food is THE highlight. Hot pots, authentic new Japanese food experiences served with every eye for detail, was an amazing add-on! Not to forget the Onsen experiences after a full day of skiing; a true retreat for body and mind. We will come back every year!!!

I loved everthing about my stay, the owner was super nice and drove us to places and picked us up. He gave us great recomendations on what to do, places to eat and what time it was better to go to the snow monkey park. The place was very traditional, the owner put hot water bottles in our beds to stay warm. I would definitely book again.
