The architecture attracted me to make the reservation and it lived up to expectations. FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

When I arrived I was offered free coffee, staff were incredibly friendly, facilities were beautifully clean and modern. I travelled for work but would absolutely stay here for a city break or any other reason in Basel given the location. Thank you for a lovely time.

Matatagpuan ang Motel One Basel sa Basel, may 100 metro mula sa Architectural Museum. Masisiyahan ang mga guest sa onsite bar at makikinabang sa libreng WiFi access. Perfect location, right in the city centre. The staff was very kind. We arrived earlier around lunchtime and we could check in earlier as well. The room was a good size, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. A fantastic small boutique hotel on edge of Basel old town. Easy to get to from airport or railway station. Reception staff, as with all the hotel staff, were hugely pleasant and welcoming. The room was faultless, modern, plenty of space, spotlessly clean. Absolutely top grade shower. Buffet breakfast was also top grade and once again the staff were so helpful, particularly the lady with spectacles. We travel extensively and It has been some time since we have stayed anywhere where we could find no fault whatsoever. The Passage is really one such very special hotel. We’d return in an instant!
