Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Amazingly helpful staff that made reservations at great restaurants. Beautiful breakfast restaurant overlooking a lovely garden. Great food. Lovely Japanese touches to the architecture and rooms. Perfect location for exploring Kyoto's sights.

Before starting the trip, tadashi-san got really involved with us and helped us with all our questions. He was really kind and helpful. His guesthouse is incredible, an authentic ryokan experience. Please if you are going to stay in Tadashi's guesthouse be polite and kind, he is a really good person and he will help you with everything. His wife Yuki-san is also lovely!

Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13436 ligger i Kyoto, 14 minuters promenad från Eikan-do Temple och 1,6 km från Shoren-in Temple, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Tadashi insisted on picking me up from the train station, on his day off as well. Himself and Yuki are lovely people and very welcoming. Everthing is meticulously clean and the bed was so comfortable, i had the first decent nights sleep since arriving in Japan 6 days previous. There is a view of a Buddhist temple out of the bedroom window and the neighbourhood where the property is seems safe and quiet.

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, Hotel Material features rooms with free WiFi access. Great Design, clean, and in a good position. The staff has been very kind and helped to return a lost item

THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA by Kyoto Tokyu Hotel ligger i Kyoto och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we felt as if we were at home. The room was extremely comfortable, because of that it was difficult to leave the room and explore the city Not to mention the free shuttle bus to and from the station was a thoughtful perk.

Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa har ett perfekt läge i området Higashiyama Ward i Kyoto, 6 minuters promenad från Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1 km från Heian-helgedomen och 15 minuters promenad från Gion Shijo... Excellent location. Walking distance to the market, bars, and restaurants. Great view of the river! Would stay again!
